Here are comments from a man attending the film festival
-- Karl Hauer, of Traverse City, was hoping to get tickets to the one screening of "The Only Good Indian," this year's Native American Matinee. He particularly wanted to hear the lead actor, Wes Studi, in the post-film question-and-answer session. "I've seen him in so many things," Hauer said. "The movie interests me, too, the premise, but [Studi] really
interests me."

Has anyone else here seen"The Only Good Indian?" Does anyone know if they found a US distributor for it yet? I think they have one for Europe
already. It's coming to "The Tallgrass Film Festival" in Wichita, Kansas October 22, 23 although the films won't be at the Old Town Warren
this year - they are still trying to figure out where they will show them.
Wes' antagonist in the movie is played by J. Kenneth Campbell - I think he did some exceptional acting - very intense at times. I was lucky enough to share a table with him at lunch one day when they were here in Wichita filming. He is a very interesting man to say the least! SS |

Southroots, there is European distribution for the film but nothing here yet. When there is we will let everyone know.
Right now the only chance to see it is on the festival circuit. ej |

I hope he can get out to Seattle at some point with this. We have a great film festival here and a real support for independent film in this part of the
country.

Ah crud EJ. I haven't been in here in a while. Been dealing with a bloodclot and life in general. I wish I would have seen your message. I'm not sure
where Traverse City is. It's on the other side of Lake Michigan from me. I'll look it up on the map.

Sorry, Dean, when I looked at the map it looked like a long way to me, but still, closer than where I am.
Take care and get better. I bet the little man is growing, and is your older son starting to drive yet? Yeah, a lot goes on in life. later, ej |
