Hey, time is flying by and I've been so busy I haven't taken care of some of our usual business.

Does anyone want to do the Secret Santa this year? I'm not sure I will have time to meet a deadline, but if anyone wants to, I'll coordinate it.

Also, does anyone want to do a Christmas Card Exchange?

I am going to try to get headed toward getting holiday stuff done this weekend, so if you want to take part, I need to know right away.

Oh blimey!
I just scared the wits out of my teenaged sons (19, 17 and 15) by showing them a real film (movie). From your performance it's hard to believe that you aren't really a homicidal maniac who hates all the British.. You stole every scene from the incomparable Daniel Day Lewis and I stayed up until four in the morning (even though I had to be at work - I'm a butcher - for seven thirty) watching your remarkable film over and over again.

The Tallgrass Film Festival is going on Oct. 23 through 25, and Wes will attend for a screening of THE ONLY GOOD INDIAN.

Mr S, How do you develope your charaters?

I am not an actor but I always wonder/think about how an actor developes his character. do you just go by "gut" feeling-like what you think that person is like. Or do you think of the character and make up his background in your own head. so many questions and so little time.

I would love to see a well written movie with native speakers using their language. I could not believe how much Maya gave to Apocalypto.

What about the French and Indian war before the Revolution. It encompassed such a large area of land. So many different native peoples

My husband has had prostate cancer for a while, he's took radiation and chemo. His Dr. told him today there's nothing else they can do he might have 3 mos, but Dr's are not always right. So prayers please.
